For deposit by CHECK/CASH payment, you must call the innkeepers. If you prefer to pay 50% as a deposit to confirm your stay, you may call the innkeepers to manually book your stay.
Because the Lakes Region is so popular at many times throughout the year, we strongly encourage guests to make advance reservations. To make a reservation, please reserve securely online or call (207) 647-3733 or toll-free (888) 237-4880. Please be aware that 2 and 3 night minimums and higher rates exist for some holiday periods, special events, and camp weekends. Please review the dates you are considering with this in mind and call if you have any questions prior to booking online.
A full payment of the stay (including Maine state tax) is required to confirm your reservation. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover or you may call to make your deposit by check, which must be received within 7 days and secured with a credit card until receipt. Your reservation is not confirmed until your deposit has been successfully processed. A confirmation will be sent to the email you provide. If you elect to confirm your reservation with at payment of 50% of the stay as a deposit, the remainder of your balance is due at check-in and can be paid with credit card, traveler’s checks, or cash.
Check-In is available 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm but please let us know when you expect to arrive so we can be sure to be here to greet you.
If you will be arriving later than 6:00 pm, please contact us to make arrangements for a late check-in.
Check-out is 11:00 am
If you will be leaving before breakfast and let us know, we will be happy to prepare something for you to take with you. Late check-out must be arranged in advance with the Innkeeper, will depend on availability, and may require an additional $25.00+ charge.
We understand that plans can change. However, we make purchases and schedule staff based on reservations and, due to our small size, cancellations affect us greatly, therefore we ask you to agree to the following cancellation policy at the time of booking:
If your plans change after your reservation is confirmed, for reservations OTHER THAN CAMP WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS, OR SPECIAL EVENT WEEKENDS, cancellation notice is required 14 days in advance of your arrival date. With this advance notice, we will refund your deposit less a $25.00 cancellation fee per room reserved. The $25.00 cancellation fee also applies to changes in your arrival/departure date that result in a shorter stay.
Cancellations received more than 14 days before the first day of your stay, will be honored and a refund of all but $25.00 administration and services fee will be made. You are responsible for the entire reservation charge as of 14 days prior to your arrival date and cancellations received within 14 days of your arrival date will be refunded, less the $25.00 cancellation charge, only if we are able to re-book the room(s) for the entire length of your reservation. We will make every attempt to rebook and will refund any room(s) we are able to re-book, less the cancellation fee for each room reserved. Winter cancellations within 14 days of your stay that we are unable to rebook are accepted without forfeiture of the total reservation charge only if airports are closed and roads to our inn are not drivable.
All cancelled reservations, regardless of notice or reason, will be charged a $25 minimum cancellation fee.
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR HOLIDAYS UNLESS WE ARE ABLE TO REBOOK THE RESERVATION. If we are able to rebook the reservation, we will refund the deposit less the $25.00 cancellation fee for each room reserved.
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR CAMP WEEKENDS OR SPECIAL EVENT WEEKENDS WHICH MUST BE PAID IN FULL AT THE TIME OF BOOKING.
SMOKING, PETS AND OTHER MATTERS
For the comfort of all of our guests, Noble House Inn is a NON-SMOKING property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises. We ask, at a minimum that you cross the street to smoke, or you may enjoy the cigar lounge just up the street at the corner of Highland Road and Route 302. Your complete cooperation is expected. A minimum of the rate for one night’s stay or $250, whichever is greater, will be imposed as a cleaning fee for violation of this policy to give us 24 hours to make the inn smoke-free again.
Although we love animals, we cannot accommodate them. There are kennels nearby that we can recommend for your convenience. We do have a cat and dog in our personal area, but they are not permitted in the guest rooms. I am training my 20 pound Snoodle, Carly, to be an "inn" dog and she may be allowed in the common areas of the inn. Guests who bring a pet into the inn will be charged a $250 service fee.
All rates are double occupancy. Each additional guest in the rooms that can accommodate one [maximum occupancy 3] is $20 additional per night.
To preserve the inn’s relaxed atmosphere and maintain a comfortable and safe environment, overnight visitors are prohibited and, while daytime visitors are welcome, they must check-in with the innkeeper and are restricted from guestroom use. Visitors are welcome in all of the common areas of the inn but not in the guestrooms.
Any violation of these policies may result in the guest being asked to find other accommodations and, in such an event, no refund will be considered.
